FAQs

  • The ‘weight limit’ of flying trapeze is a little complicated and depends on the specific flyer. Our rig is safe for flyers of any weight, and we strongly believe flying trapeze is an accessible art meant for people of. all abilities, shapes, and sizes, but for some flying trapeze may not be the best place to start. Our weight limit really comes down to you being able to hold your body weight on the trapeze.

If you’re not sure about being able to hold your bodyweight on the trapeze, a good test can be a 15 second straight arm dead hang. We also look at 3 factors - weight, body shape, and grip. Above about 250 pounds body shape and grip will play a large part in the weight limit for flyers.

If you’re not sure, please feel free to contact us to discuss.

  • All flyers must be at least 8 years young. Whether you're 8 or 108 (or anywhere in between), the trapeze is waiting for you!

Children under 14 require a parent or guardian to be present at all times unless the instructors give explicit permission otherwise. A signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian is required for all children.

Please remember, once a spot is reserved, you are responsible for the full cost of the class, even if the child cannot or chooses not to participate in class.

  • Everyone has different preferences when it comes to flying trapeze gear, but for your first class we recommend that you wear comfortable, form fitting clothing. You’ll want something that’s easy to move around in, won’t get caught or impair your vision or movement in the air, but also that will protect your skin from the bar and net. While the net is fairly soft, it can be a little rough to walk on or on exposed skin while landing, so we recommend socks. Between turns, you may be more comfortable with sandals. If you have long hair you’ll want to bring an elastic band to put it up (no hair clips).

A good first day checklist would be leggings or snug sweatpants and a shirt with sleeves (even a short one!), socks, sandals, a towel (just in case), and a water bottle.

Find more info on our what to wear page.

  • We’re located right behind the L&L Market, you can park in the large lot there and we can validate your parking for up to 3 hours free. Plenty of time to fly with us and pop inside to enjoy the shops and restaurants.
